COUP/3 GOALS Overview
A four session series led by nationally recognized authors, educators, activists, and creatives focused on the various ideals of navigating one's personal journey through contemporary relationships, kink factors, and the freedom + happiness found in non-traditional dynamics. 

Session One Overview
This four session series kicks off on March 23rd with Kitty Chambliss of the Loving Without Boundaries movement, author of “Jealousy Survival Guide,” and Alternative Relationship Coach with Open Relationship Specialist, Sex Therapist, and Educator Ruby B. Johnson. In an intimate setting, Emily Dahlquist will sit with Kitty and Ruby to discuss their approach to understanding and experiencing non-traditional relationships, jealousy, and techniques that can advance any relationship from a self-developed perspective. 

Donation suggested at entry, but not required, hosted cocktail for guests, and relaxed, seated setting.

More About Ruby B. Johnson:
Ruby B Johnson received her Bachelors of Social Work in 2002 from Texas Women's University and her Masters of Social Work in 2004 from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since 2003, Ruby’s roles have included clinical practitioner, community and professional development educator, and graduate and under graduate adjunct professor. In private practice, her areas of expertise are substance use disorders, obsessive and compulsive sexual behaviors, attachment disorders, multi-cultural families and couples, gender expression/gender identity issues, consensual nonmonogamous partnerships/families, and Kink/BDSM. Mrs. Johnson is a Parenting Facilitator and Coordinator within the state of Texas. She has presented at several national, state, and local conferences including Society of Social Work Research Conference, Council of Social Work Education Conference, DFW Behavioral Health Symposium, The Association of Black Sexologists and Clinicians, International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals, and The State of Texas Association of Addiction Professionals Conference. In 2017, Mrs. Johnson presented at Kinky Kollege, Contemporary Relationship Conference, Lincoln University, American Association of Sexologists, Educators, Counselors, and Therapist. Mrs. Johnson created and facilitated a workshop/webinar “Black Relationships, Sexuality, and Families.”
Her opinion and expertise on race relations, profiling, and systemic implications have been featured in the encyclopedia, African Americans and the Criminal Justice System, Carol The Sex Addiction Coach Radio Show, Ms. Beautiful Magazine, Vice News, Politiken, Our Sexuality! Magazine, and as a regular commentator on the Dallas Weekly Radio: First Amendment Show. Ruby was interviewed on BonaFideShe Radio Show on the topic of Trauma and its impact on Sexuality. Most recently, Mrs. Johnson presented a webinar on Black Sexuality and Relationships on Center for Healthy Sexuality’s Sexpert Series.
In 2017, Cunning Minx, with Poly In the News, interviewed Ruby Johnson on PolyDallas Millennium Symposium and follow up commentary on the New York Times article regarding open relationships. Ruby Johnson is a contributor for Huffington Post and Black and Poly Magazine. She serves on the Board of Directors for National Coalition for Sexual Freedom and Texas Phoenix House.
